*Located in Altafulla, a town in the north of Costa Daurada (Golden Coast) and at a 45-minute ride to Barcelona from the south, the Altafulla Mar Hotel is a 4-star holiday resort opening in May 2015. It is just at a 2-minute walk away from the beach in a quiet town that boasts a historical centre, which has been declared as an Asset of National Interest with an architectural ensemble that was built between the 17th and the 18th century.

The hotel is arranged on 4 floors with 136 guestrooms in four different types: Standard (32m2), Superior overlooking the pool (32m2), Extra Superior Premium (59m2) and Junior suite (57m2). Room facilities include a shower, a flat-screen TV with international channels, a free minibar (welcome water), a hairdryer, a desk, a telephone, a safe box that fits a laptop (free) air-conditioned and heating. All the rooms have got a terrace, which is 10m2 for Extra Superior (Premium) type, and 24m2 for Junior Suite type overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

The hotel cuisine will be based on quality Mediterranean food with fresh market products. You can choose between half-board and full-board accommodation. The restaurant area includes a large themed buffet restaurant with indoor and outdoor spaces, which is where both breakfast and dinner are served; an outdoor summer grill restaurant in the swimming-pool area serving lunch, and a lounge bar for both day snacks and dinner-time creative dishes you can share.

The beach is only 100m straight away from the hotel and you can easily access it on foot. Just within a 10-minute walking distance customers can also enjoy paradise-like coves surrounded by Mediterranean nature, hiking excursions and bike rides (rental service at the hotel reception desk).

The garden zone takes over 3,000m2 with 2 outdoor swimming pools, one of which is for children. There are hammocks, sunshades and beach towels to rent. All rooms have free wi-fi service.
The hotel has got a Mini Club area specially thought for the little ones in the family, with child-care service, a wide game offer, children furniture and TV. It is open all day long for the whole of the summer season. There is also a room babysitting service on offer (with a supplementary cost and advance booking).
